# Public Presentation - What I will be speaking about - Why it is important - The details - Try it for yourself - Q&A --- ## What I will be speaking about - Obsidian lets you make a slide deck using Markdown directly in your notes --- ## Why it is important - Often, I get so distracted by the process and tools involved in making something that I don't actually **make the thing** - Being able to just ignore all of that and make some slides shortcuts that - Similar benefits of using Obsidian Publish to publish content --- ## The details - Each slide is separated by `---` and their style is influenced by how many `#` headers deep you are - That's pretty much it! --- ## Try it for yourself - I am just using the built-in Slides plugin. It can be enabled from settings - There are also "Advanced Slides" but I don't feel like I need them at this time --- ## Questions? - Maybe I have answers! ---
